This East Coast chain is cranking out some of the best smashburgers, crinkle cut fries, and frozen custard concretes known to humankind. And in a city where everyone seems obsessed with wellness and longevity, sometimes it’s fun to take a break and eat a fast-food burger. This Shake Shack in Cow Hollow also has a Bay Area-specific menu, like soft-serve concretes made with B. Patisserien kouign-amann, but for the most part, you really can’t beat the classics.
