Hillstone might be basically an upscale Applebee’s, but at least you know know what you’re getting. The spinach and artichoke dip will be heated to a precise temperature every time, the salmon is identical in San Francisco and Phoenix, and the drinks are always expensive and good. This is the Embarcadero after all.
