Berkeley-based Boichik Bagels is expanding across the Bay faster than a GoCar hurtling down Pine. And the city’s lucky first location joins the pilates studios and boutique rug stores of Presidio Heights. It’s takeout-only, so take your paper-wrapped New York-style bagels home, or eat them at the Presidio surrounded by eucalyptus trees. The classic lox sandwich is a well-stuffed home run, but we like to keep things simple here with an untoasted everything bagel and chive cream cheese.
