The self-proclaimed “unconventional” Thai restaurant is from alums of Ugly Baby and Somtum Der Red Hook, and the fried rice here makes your nose run and your lips burn, causing you to briefly pause and think, “should I continue eating this?” before finishing every last grain. Sit in a wooden booth, listen to some 1970s hits, and start your meal with crab croquettes in a pool of tom yum puree.
