The baristas at this stylish Japanese import make a perfect cup of coffee, every time, which is why we keep coming back. Their signature drink is the Spanish latte made with sweetened condensed milk, but serious coffee nerds come here to geek out over single-origin pour overs. The sparkling lemonade is surprisingly good, considering that this is a coffee shop, and their iced matcha latte has a devoted fan base. Grab a Balthazar pastry if you stop here for breakfast, or a soft serve on summer afternoons. If you’re heading for a picnic or a walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park (which is just across the street), they also serve a rainbow of adorable miniature cold-pressed juices in tiny clear bottles with their signature percent-sign logo.
