The next time you find yourself at a rooftop barbecue or a park hang, bring a key lime pie. When everyone else unveils their store-bought guac and chips or six-pack of canned wine, you’ll be the hero, especially if the pie is from Cait’s Key Lime. These pies are made to order and come in three sizes, Goldilocks-style. The filling is smooth and pudding-like, with an ideal combination of tartness and sweetness, and each pie is topped with a generous layer of whipped cream and zest. There’s no physical storefront, but you can order the larger sizes online for pickup or delivery, or find mini pies at Sweet Chick locations around town.
