Antidote serves some really good Sichuan food, but you would need three guesses to figure that out. This place also shares a couple of key personality traits with a bunch of restaurants in its corner of Williamsburg: It has a mysterious name, and it's located in a big, concrete bunker with oversized ceramics, a skylight, and a ton of plants. There’s also a random terrarium, occasionally some live music, and patrons who all look like they also play live music. This area has a lot of spacious, airy, and generally pleasant restaurants, but come to Antidote when you also want fresh baskets of dim sum, pungent, pickled fish stew, and tea-smoked duck with crispy skin that tastes like candy.
