With all due respect to The Dutch’s famous fried chicken, its sister restaurant at the W Hotel steals the show. Carne Mare is the kind of place to take your hip grandparents for a special dinner—it feels classic and timeless like a traditional steakhouse, but the dishes here are more interesting than the usual suspects. The steaks, from the wagyu to the prime rib, are fantastic, as are the more out-of-the-box options like the foie gras cones and mozzarella sticks topped with caviar.
