Thorn
Thorn is like a 2012 time capsule—when bars in warehouses were cool, decorated with antique sofas, and blasted Foster The People. This is not an insult. We miss those simpler times. Cocktails were $14, cauliflower was having a moment—and so were cartoon mustaches for some reason. You can find all of those things (except the mustaches) at this restaurant at the foot of an apartment complex on Bird Road. We love it here. One of our favorite things on the menu is their cauliflower with sherry maple, tahini, and roti. Some other items, like the wedge salad, are just OK. But the thorn burger—a single patty with American cheese, crispy shredded lettuce, red onion, and house pickles—is absolutely delicious.
