You can get dinner and a show at some restaurants. But at Neme Gastro Bar, you kind of get two shows for the price of one dinner. On the left side of the restaurant is a stage, and that’s where you’ll get your first performance of the evening. They have live music every night, but the Thursday and Friday Jazz nights are our favorites. To the right of the stage is a whole other kind of display: the kitchen, which really stands out against the restaurant’s warm brick walls and blue ambient lighting. It’s an actual open kitchen too—the kind where you can see all the way down to their shoes. The menu is solid and broad, with entrees from steaks to pastas. But we prefer sipping a mojito at the bar and mindlessly munching on tostones while watching cooks in white coats dance around each other to the dizzying jazz beats.
