Wilma and Frieda’s is a bit out of the way in Palm Desert, but the comfort food here is exactly what you need after a long of mai tais. Don’t be distracted by its location next to a Saks Fifth Avenue in a fancy mall - the food is much better and more affordable than you’d expect. They serve stuff like short rib eggs benedict and a blackberry vanilla custard French toast, and all of it hovers around the $15 mark.
Juniper Table is an all-day restaurant in a Palm Springs hotel with excellent food, and a patio that’s a great place for breakfast.
King’s Highway in the Palm Springs Ace has one of the best breakfasts in town in a not-cheesy retro atmosphere.
Norma’s in Palm Springs has the best patio for brunch in town, and it’s certainly more about the scene than the expensive eggs.
Cheeky’s serves excellent brunch classics in Palm Springs, and usually has the long lines to prove it.
