The Coco Club

When a rooftop bar hosts DJ sets overlooking the California coastline and still doesn't feel too touristy, we want to tell everybody we know about it. So here goes nothing: The Coco Club on top of The Beacon hotel hosts dance parties every Friday night (with DJs from 9pm-2am), and there's a wraparound terrace where you can sip a tequila sunrise and watch the sun clock out for the day. The place stays calm through the early evening and gets clubbier most nights and weekends—that's when you can expect a crowd of leather-clad people two-stepping between cheetah sculptures or hoping to have meet-cutes in the green velvet booths near the bar.
