Walking across Hotel Bel-Air’s cobblestone bridge feels like being transported to a hidden estate deep in the Italian countryside. This is one of the city’s most luxurious hotel properties, nestled in a Bel-Air canyon that couldn’t possibly be ten minutes from the 405. A night here is not cheap, so we like to just cozy up to the bar and just pretend we’re staying all week. The Art Deco space opens daily at 3pm and features comfy sitting areas, a roaring fireplace (even in the summer), and the opportunity to feel as rich as you want.

Tower Bar

This Sunset Strip staple is a complete scene and completely worth it.

You'll probably spot some celebrities at Chateau Marmont, but you'll also get a well-made drink.

The Polo Lounge image

The Polo Lounge seems like one of those classic Old Hollywood spots, but the food and the scene are awful. There are better places for star sightings.
