Another day, another generic bar in the old Sunny Spot space in Venice. This time, it’s a tiki-themed spot that wouldn’t feel out of place on the ground-floor of a Westfield mall. Come weekends, the place gets crowded with 24-year-old Westsiders who don’t know any better. If your goal for the evening is to stand around drinking mediocre frozen daiquiris and give your number to one of the last remaining employees at Buzzfeed, this place is for you. If not, don’t prioritize.
