The Auld Shillelagh
Included in
From unforgettable St Patrick’s Days to quiet Sunday afternoon pints, The Auld Shillelagh has seen us through it all, and always with an exceptional pint of Guinness in hand. To say these guys know what they're doing would be like saying we watched Tom Hardy’s CBeebies bedtime story once—a massive understatement. The narrow space fills up quickly, with every merlot-coloured, cushioned stool and highly prized table for three snapped up come evening. In winter, our favourite spot is by the fireplace where it feels like you’ve stumbled into a warm living room, one with framed football jerseys and signs reminding you that you’re “off the leash and on the lash”. In summer, the charming garden is the place to be. But really, it’s worth perching anywhere at this Stoke Newington pub for a pint of the black stuff.
