Arôme Bakery
The people behind Malaysian restaurant Rasa Sayang teamed up with a French patissier to create this bakery in Covent Garden’s St Martin’s Courtyard. After you spend five minutes staring at everything before saying ‘just give me one of everything to-go please’, zoom in on the pistachio chocolate escargots, pineapple and mango danish pastries that look like a work of art, and a sweet honey butter toast that has the perfect fluff-to-crunch ratio. Everything here is pretty great. Warburtons could never. There are only a handful of tables but if you're alone or with one other person then a pastry and flat white is a perfect way to start a day in Covent Garden.
