Zydeco Louisiana Diner
Included In
Zydeco Louisiana Diner in Downtown would be the perfect setting for a 1950s show set in New Orleans, or Vegas, mostly for the throwback sign outside and because that’s how old the furniture feels. Time warp aside, the lunch-only cafeteria-style spot serves up Cajun and Creole lunch plates daily specials, and various po’boys that any Downtown office dweller or random passerby can appreciate as they load up plates with green beans and black-eyed peas. While Zydeco may not have the absolute best jambalaya or stuffed pork chop in town, the food tastes pretty good for hanging out under a heat lamp most of the morning, workers serve up plates fast, and you can get a filling meal with a drink for under $20.
