After nearly a decade in the hospitality industry—in which she’s managed, served, bartended, and washed dishes in corporate, independent, and pop-up restaurants and bars—and a few years nurturing plants as a native horticulturist, she decided to write about restaurants instead of just eating in them. Known for having a discerning opinion on just about everything, Chelsea hails from a long-line of Texans and Houstonians who like to eat and spend time outdoors. She earned a degree in Writing & Literature from Emerson College and really enjoys re-watching "Star Trek: Voyager".
