Where To Eat And Drink In Foggy Bottom
Foggy Bottom is more than GW students and sandwich shops (although there are a lot of those). Here’s your guide to navigating it.
Stoney’s On L
Stoney’s in Foggy Bottom has a good patio, a solid happy hour, and plenty of TV’s to watch the game on.
Beefsteak
Beefsteak has things like beet burgers on the menu, but also rice bowls for the less health-crazed. Use it for a quick lunch in Foggy Bottom.
Jetties
The best sandwiches in Foggy Bottom are at Jetties. Expect a long line at lunch, but the Thanksgiving Nobadeer is worth it.
Lauriol Plaza Restaurant
Lauriol doesn't serve the best Mexican food in Dupont, but as long as you know that, it's a fun spot to start a night out.
Iron Gate
Iron Gate in Dupont is known for its prix-fixe dinner, but we like it best for drinks and a light bite.
Tabard Inn
Tabard Inn in Dupont has a reliable brunch, but the patio is a nice spot for dinner (and live jazz), too.
