No Vacancy

No Vacancy in River North is technically a sports bar, but is really more of a utility spot. Yes, there are lots of TVs playing sports, but it’s not the kind of spot where a guy in a Bears jersey screams during a first-quarter score, and is sleeping in a basket of wings by halftime. No Vacancy is just a few blocks from a bunch of train stops, so it's full of after-work crowds and visitors staying in one of the many nearby hotels. There’s a patio, above-average bar food like steak sliders and birria egg rolls, interesting takes on cocktails that can be hit-or-miss, plus a kitchen that’s open until 1am. Come for the solid Happy Hour specials on beer, wine, and food in a lively but not aggressively loud environment.
