El Sabor Poblano

El Sabor Poblano is always on our minds—mostly in the context of wishing we had access to an ever-flowing fountain of their mole. Both the sweet and smoky poblano and the herbaceous verde are incredible, whether they’re covering fluffy enchiladas or chicken drumsticks. But make sure that every trip to this casual Rogers Park spot also includes something with masa, from puffy, fried quesadillas to a breakfast of picaditas and sweet champurrado. And since the cute blue-themed dining room (the chairs, walls, and tablecloths are all matching) is open 9am-9pm, seven days a week, you can stop by for every meal—and you’ll want to.
