Tsurumen Ramen
Included in
Tsurumen is a long-term pop-up that opened in April 2018 and will close 1,000 business days later. Supposedly, there’s some kind of mindfulness thing going on there that’s supposed to remind us that life is fleeting. We suppose there’s something to that, but mostly we think it sucks, because these are good bowls of ramen that deserve to be around longer than those HBO sitcoms you like but get canceled because not enough people watched and shooting in New York is expensive. There are only a few bowls on the menu at a time and, while they rotate frequently, you can expect them all to have nice, not-too-salty broths and great noodles.
