You can get familiar dishes like green curry, pad thai, and fried rice at Khon Thai in Allandale, but you’ll be missing out on a lot of the regional specialties that make this spot stand out. Pickled and fried pork ribs are crispy, savory, and a bit tart, and the bite-sized ribs make another noteworthy appearance in the fiery kua kling praram, which brings out even more of that rich flavor hiding in the bones. Show up with friends and grab a few curries to share with the table. The dining room is spacious, with larger tables in the back if you want to show up with a big group.
