So So Fed

With an homage to Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def record label, So So Fed is producing some of the best Lao food in the city.  Operating Sunday and Monday nights out of OK Yaki’s kitchen in EAV, the pop-up is quickly gaining a fanbase. But we’re always surprised it’s not as packed judging by how good the food is. Until those crowds come, we’re happy to grab a seat at the bar and watch the chefs mix it up in the kitchen. We can vouch for the thom khem moo with tender pork sitting in a cilantro soy broth. And the spicy red curry beef noodle soup is a winner, too. But everything is good since their constantly-changing menu has so many hits they should all be certified platinum.
