More like A Tease of Katz’s. This stall in Downtown Brooklyn’s subterranean DeKalb Market Hall offers a brief selection of the famous Lower East Side deli’s greatest hits. If you’re looking for a quality sandwich, it gets the job done, but we can’t help but feel that the pastrami is a little fresher and thicker at the original location. It’s also a little strange that the sides, like potato salad and coleslaw, are only available in half-quart quantities. Still, we’ll take a tease—awkwardly large portion sizes and all—over nothing.
