Throw Social

It’s not quite Dream or Love, but Throw Social does its part to bring the life back to the Ivy City party scene, albeit in a very different way. The space feels like an indoor lawn party, with giant Connect4 and shuffleboard games surrounded by cabanas where you can hang out with a group. There are also smaller high tops scattered around the area, plus a patio with a second bar and cornhole. Come late night on the weekends if you want to hear a DJ. And while they have a full menu, the bland pizza and overly-sweet chicken sliders feel like you’re just supposed to use it to soak up alcohol or feed your very picky five-year-old nephew.
