DCReview
Hi/Fi might be the best restaurant at The Roost—unfortunately that’s not saying much. With the explosion of food halls in DC, there’s no reason to go to a bad one, but if you find yourself at the Capitol Hill installation, Hi/Fi is the place to order from. That said, the mojo-braised chicken tacos are just layers of texture with no flavor differentiating the crunchy tortilla from the shredded lettuce from the under-seasoned chicken. And orange soda-braised carnitas are slathered in a giant piece of white american cheese that drowns the entire taco. The margs are pretty good, though, so at least there’s that.
