4 Absolut Cocktails To Make Over The Holidays
Presented in partnership with
Absolut Vodka
One way to make the holidays feel like the holidays would be pumping pine needle scent into your apartment while streaming a burning fireplace on your TV. A better option would be making any of these cocktails. They’re the kind of drinks that feel just the right amount of celebratory, but still don’t require too much effort. Make a couple for a social distanced gathering, or one to go along with the pine needle scent / TV fireplace situation.

1 part Absolut Vodka
¾ part cranberry juice
¾ part lime juice
2 parts ginger ale
Rosemary
Fresh cranberries

Drink If You Like: Cosmos, Champagne, Thanksgiving all year round
How It Tastes: Crisp, fizzy, like a black tie gala in your home
You’ll Need:
Champagne flute
¾ part Absolut Vodka
¾ part cranberry juice
¼ part triple sec
¼ part lime juice
Champagne
You’re going to want a Champagne flute for this cocktail, just to make things appropriately celebratory. Add ¾ part Absolut Vodka, ¾ part cranberry juice, ¼ part triple sec, and ¼ part lime juice directly into the glass, and top with Champagne. It doesn’t have to (and probably shouldn’t) be the fanciest Champagne, but it should be one you’d be willing to drink on its own.
Espresso Martini

Drink If You Like: Coffee, Martinis, Drinks that taste like dessert
How It Tastes: Frothy, pleasantly bitter, like it should be bottled and sold at grocery stores
You’ll Need:
Martini glass
Ice
1⅓ parts Absolut Vodka
⅔ part Kahlúa
⅔ part espresso
3 coffee beans
Make your espresso - if you have a machine use that, or else run down to the coffee shop and ask for a shot. Either way, let it cool before you start making your cocktail. Now would also be a good time to put your martini glass in the freezer to chill.
Put 1 ⅓ parts Absolut Vodka, ⅔ part Kahlúa, and ⅔ part espresso in your shaker. Add more ice than you’d think and shake hard for around 15 seconds. You want to get a nice frothy foam happening, so this isn’t the time to be gentle. Strain into your chilled martini glass. Garnish with coffee beans.
