Mission Blue is a cafe and gift shop in Visitacion Valley that serves Saint Frank’s coffee, seasonal pastries, and tons of gift options from SF-based artists. It’s the perfect place to get Crosstown Trail merch (they’re right on the massive 17-mile trek across the city), Sutro Tower wall art, and Muni paintings for any transit enthusiasts in your life. Outside of all knick-knacks, you’ll find a short menu of coffee and tea with a few specialty drinks like a lavender latte with lavender from the owner’s garden and a chamomile honey tea bowl that’s great for when you’re feeling a little under the weather. While there’s no indoor seating, there are a few tables out front for relaxing and breathing in the scent of lavender on a sunny day. Or you could just walk around the small shop with your latte and enjoy the communal atmosphere.
