Hong Kong Lounge
Included In
Carpeted floors, glistening chandeliers, and mirrors lining salmon-pink walls make Hong Kong Lounge feel like the lovechild of a glitzy conference room and a classic Chinese banquet hall. It’s the setting for excellent Cantonese dim sum staples, and families and groups of friends who pack the place daily and spin steamers and bowls of garlicky pea shoots around lazy susans. Plump siu mai, sweet baked pork buns, and xiao long bao are standbys on every table, along with heartier fried sticky rice, and noodle rolls with XO sauce. Even if there’s a crowd huddled in the entryway of this Richmond spot waiting for a table (and there will be on weekends), things move efficiently. This place never disappoints, especially when the need for a last-minute group brunch strikes.
