When it’s past 9pm and you’re craving a hefty meal on the west side of the city, the pickings are a bit slim—enter Hall Of Flame. This sports-themed Parkmerced burger and hot dog joint has set up shop in a tiny strip mall location that’s more reminiscent of LA than SF, but with a lot more wind and fog. Open until 11pm every day of the week, Hall Of Flame is the place to get a juicy cheeseburger like the classic Buzzer Beater with tomato, onion, lettuce, and pickles, or the messy (but worth it) Slapshot chili dog, all while sitting underneath a massive mural honoring the Warriors and Giants.
