This is the second location of Dumpling Kitchen (the original is in Parkside)—and just like its predecessor, it’s worth a trip to this snug Castro spot for the pan-fried pork buns alone. They’re gorgeously golden brown on the bottom and dusted off with fresh green onions. Also get here for the boiled dumplings that look like adorable, wrinkly little brains, and heartier entrées like stir-fried rice cakes and garlic-heavy cucumber salad. Inside it’s casual, but the space gets a cheery touch from string lights and steamer tops hanging on the walls.
