Dumpling Dynasty
Included In
Dumpling Dynasty—not to be confused with Dynasty Dumpling in Lower Pacific Heights—is a Chinese restaurant in the Richmond with very average boiled, steamed, and pan-fried dumplings, plus other passable entrées like sesame chicken or wonton soup. The xiao long bao are the size (and weight) of golf balls, with less soup than we’d like. And boiled pork and corn dumplings do the trick if you’re hungry and in the area, though you won’t be crossing town for them any time soon. It’s mostly a takeout operation here, but you can also sit down in the sparse dining room and catch whatever’s playing on the overhead TVs.
