5 New Things To Do & Eat In San Francisco This Week

It’s a new month, meaning there’s a great lineup of exciting (and delicious) things to check out in the Bay. Like a pop-up with pizza, pie, and natural wine, or a big block party with live music, arts and crafts, and lots of food. If you’re in need of plans for the week, here are five fun options.
Juniper at the Mill
Juniper is an SF-based pop-up that will be serving tuna confit sandwiches on Sunday, October 10th, at The Mill. They’re not taking pre-orders, so just walk up to the NoPa bakery from 6-9pm to get your sandwich (made on freshly-baked ciabatta).
Outta Sight, Grand Opening, and Everything Is Okay at Snail Bar
If getting into lots of wine, pie, and pizza sound like an ideal way to spend your evening, swing by Snail Bar in Oakland tonight - Tuesday, October 5th. They’re hosting a trio of pop-ups (Everything Is Okay, Grand Opening, and Outta Sight), all of which will be there from 5-8pm.
Maison Nico at Olivier’s Butchery
Maison Nico, an épicierie specializing in pâté en croûte, is popping up at Olivier’s Butchery in Dogpatch. If you’re also in the market for terrines or French baked goods, they’ll be there from 11:30am until they sell out.
Copas
For things like hamachi crudo, pan tomate, and churros with burnt white chocolate toffee, check out Copas. The Spanish/Mexican/Californian spot opened in the Castro a couple of weeks ago with plenty of wine, beer, and cocktails to get into.
Old Oakland Celebrates
This Saturday, October 9th, 12-6pm, a big block party with food and drinks, local vendors, crafts and games, and live music is taking over Old Oakland. Tons of our favorite spots - like Huangcheng Noodle House, Miss Ollie’s, and La Guerrera’s Kitchen - will be there, so make sure to come hungry.
