Tapster Philadelphia

As the name suggests, Tapster is full of taps—54 wines, beers, and cocktails, to be exact—that take DIY to a buzzy new level. Once inside the Center City self-serve bar, you’ll get a card that you tap like a SEPTA Key at each stall, grab a glass, and pay by the ounce. Tables with swings for chairs, vintage photo booths, and a playlist of oldies add a sense of fun and playfulness to the whole space. Neighboring The Happy Rooster delivers chicken quesadillas, wings, and calamari right to your table (though each is just so-so). But with TVs all around, the draw is watching a game from a swing set and pouring from the walls of hazy IPAs, margaritas, and chocolate stouts at your own pace.
