If we wrote a guide for The Best Restaurants To Grab A Drink But Avoid Eating, Kensington’s Starbolt would be on it. The New American spot is massive—it’s located in an old ironworks—yet the wood furnishings and antiques make it warm and cozy. It’s filled with TVs (look out for drink specials on game days) and several large tables where you can have an impromptu catch up with friends. The menu is difficult to decipher—you’ll see everything from a burger and wasabi crusted tuna to a Moroccan vegetable tagine—and none of it is serviceable. Head here  for a drink (we love the Mint Logic) before dinner elsewhere, you’re intermittent fasting, or simply aren’t hungry.
