The beer garden at UCity Square is a vacant lot for most of the year, but during the summer, the Philadelphia Horticultural Society turns it into a full-on forest with big trees, wood-chip floors, and string lights. Even if you don’t normally hang out in West Philly, it’s worth taking a trip here to drink some craft beers in this Narnia-esque garden.
Han Dynasty in University City serves two main purposes - a place to eat some of the best Sichuan food around, and a full-on sports bar.

Sunset Social is essentially a lawn on top of a parking garage in University City with burgers and frozen drinks.
Suraya is a Lebanese spot in Fishtown that’s great for a date, brunch, or a big group dinner. Honestly, it’s great for everything.
