Frankford Hall is an enormous beer garden in Fishtown that’s open year round, so you can day drink outside regardless if you’re wearing a parka or shorts (this place has a lot of heat lamps). Beers are served by the liter, along with traditional German drinking food, like Bavarian pretzels, wiener schnitzel, and sausages.

It’s a great place to be when you’re single, with a big group, or with a big group of people that are single. Or if you just want to play some foosball or ping-pong. On especially nice days, the line forms pretty early, but if you can elbow your way onto one of the communal tables, grab an off-brand Jenga, and order a round of beers, it’s one of the best spots you can spend an afternoon drinking outside in Philly.
