For those looking to get out of town without actually going anywhere, this farm-to-table restaurant uses produce only from Victoria. Elegant dishes are best enjoyed from the outdoor terrace (one of just a handful in town that overlook the Yarra River), but inside is equally impressive, with a rust-toned interior inspired by local farmland and vineyards. The same chef is behind Farmer’s Daughters, another hyper-local spot nearby using produce from the mountains, beaches, and farmland of Gippsland (an area in the state’s south-east). We love its rooftop bar for pre-dinner cocktails.
