Admittedly, Villains Tavern isn’t quite the hot spot it was a few years ago, but maybe that’s a good thing. One of the first bars to make the Arts District a nightlife destination, there was a time when Villains lines were wrapped around the block and down another. Thankfully, those days are gone, but the bar you loved remains. The dystopian circus theme is still as wonderful as it is concerning, and the outdoor live music is always a good time. And to not have to pay a cover for live music downtown is basically unheard of.
