Henry’s Tacos does not have the best tacos in the world, but that’s OK. This old-school taco window has been in the neighborhood since the ’60s and is a Valley classic. You come here on a Friday solo lunch run or after your kids soccer game, eat a bunch of $2.75 hard and soft shell tacos, and be back in your car in 20 minutes. Cash only.
Salazar is a Mexican BBQ restaurant in Frogtown that’s gone from excellent to average in just a few short years. The patio, however, remains great.
Coffee Commissary is a modern coffee shop with locations all over the city, but we like the Burbank one because of the full breakfast and lunch menu.
