The Third Ward sports bar The Den functions as the watering hole for U of H students. If the last three songs were by Drake on the loudspeaker there, you’re in the right place. With strong margaritas that cost $6 during Happy Hour, to buffalo chicken sandwiches with crispy fries, The Den feels like a one-stop-shop for college students looking to enjoy their weekend on a shoestring budget. Expect the giant projector (and all four of their flat screen TVs) to be set to the most exciting sports game, and for bar guests to be glued to the action while slinging back Modelos.
