Cafe Pamplona is an old-school coffee shop in Harvard Square that makes you want to write epic poetry about the Spanish Civil War. It’s in a musty, low-ceilinged basement with flaking walls and has a nice patio with umbrella tables on Bow Street. The small menu of Mediterranean food is nothing special but it gets the job done.
