White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails

The competition for downtown dining dollars is cutthroat, but White Oak has two things working in its favor: 1) the restaurant sits directly across the street from the always-bustling Hyatt Regency and 2) its menu of Southern-influenced specialties is better than almost anything you can find within walking distance at lunch or dinner. The farmhouse-inspired space is bright and has more than enough room to handle the chatty conventioners walking over from the hotel. And dishes like the golden fried poussin and hearty halibut will be the talk on the work channels for weeks.
