It’s not unusual to see couples with bouquets in hand out for a romantic dinner at Toscano in Atlantic Station. Bless their hearts, we can only hope their relationships aren’t as bland as the food. The best option is their Neapolitan pepperoni pizza with a nice crust—crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the real move is to play the long game. While the pasta is mediocre, it comes in a bowl the size of potholes on Peachtree and filled to the brim with about five pounds of pasta. Box it up, and then smother it with salt, pepper, and whatever spices you have on hand at home. Voilà, you have two to three servings for less money than one of those subscription meal kits.
