One way we’ve found to entertain ourselves on painfully long conference calls is to plan out the combination of sides we’re going to get with our fried chicken dinner at The Colonnade. With more than 30 options ranging from fried okra to black-eyed peas, you’ll have a lot of possibilities to keep you occupied. This family-style dining hall has been around since 1927, so it’s fortunately not going anywhere. Unfortunately, neither are those endless conference calls.

Emerald City Bagels
The New York-style bagels at this East Atlanta Village spot are some of our favorites in the city.
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken
There are few things we like more than showing up to Gus's downtown with a big group and ordering the 20 piece family meal with a bunch of sides.
Home Grown is a throwback diner in Reynoldstown serving Southern classics like pimiento cheese sandwiches and vegetables grown on site.

The choices are almost overwhelming at Ginya Izakaya, a small plates Japanese pub in West Midtown, so bring a group and share everything.
Downwind Restaurant & Lounge
Usually when food and airplanes mix you’re left disappointed, but Downwind is right next to the Dekalb Airport and serves great pub classics.
