When you walk into King + Duke, you’re hit by with the sight and smell of a 24-foot open-fire hearth. PSA: this is not somewhere to bring your vegetarian friends. Sure, the roasted vegetable tartine is fine, but you come to King + Duke to eat the highest quality animal protein you can get, like the whole roasted trout, roasted duck, and heritage pork chop. Also, the complimentary popovers are so good that they will almost convince you to not go for that final piece of steak that you were planning to take home as leftovers. Almost.
