ATLReview
Jake’s Ice Cream is an ATL classic that first opened its doors in Old Fourth Ward back in 1999. Now situated in a corner of a small plaza near downtown Hapeville, the small, cutesy shop draws folks in search of their signature creamy, sweet ice cream. On warmer days, expect a small crowd gathered outside the tiny space, though the wait is never too long. It's a great place for cones and cups in standard flavors that don’t venture too far into the wild but strike the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. Try the 'Kiss of the Leprechaun'—mint ice cream with chocolate chips—when you're wanting something refreshingly cool.
