Felix’s sits in the Ansley Square Shopping Center in a cluster of bars that has quickly revived Ansley into an LGBTQ+-friendly hub. Next door to the Eagle and Oscar’s (and near the alleged new location of recently closed The Hideaway), Felix’s is where we go when we’d like to dip our toes into a party scene without jumping in feet first. There’s barely enough space for the DJ stand in the corner and although there isn’t really a dance floor we’ve seen more than one person create their own. A wall of mirrors inside gives way to a cute but small outdoor patio with its own bar. The neon-lights cast a hazy purple-ish glow and set the mood for all their weekly events like karaoke and trivia.
