Long before the Eastside was swarmed with BeltLine bikers and pricey apartments, it was home to factories and warehouses. On a narrow, triangle-shaped plot filled with steel, wood tables, and folks in vintage tees, this new seafood shack from the Grindhouse team melds the two worlds perfectly. While you ponder how exactly in line, you’ll also need to figure out if you’re sitting inside near the bar or out by the trail before you order. Either way, you have to commit since they frown upon moving about. We don't mind their inflexibility because we love their well-seasoned chicken étouffée empanadas and fried fish basket (with a thick, flaky filet with fries). Add a vodka-and-mango slush to take your people-watching patio party to the next level.
